RECOUP REFUEL REPLENISH

Did you have a nice weekend?

Did you indulge in just the right amount of ribs AND mojitos AND ice cream AND juleps AND sausage AND beer AND shortcake AND wine AND burgers AND oh, gawd it hurts...

A holiday weekend in the summer is a terrific time to enjoy and maybe even over do it a bit, but sometimes you need a break. Luckily, this recipe for a Watermelon Cooler can help.

As part of an on-going effort to offer non-alcohol based beverage ideas and a commitment to a healthful, balanced lifestyle. I've created a vitamin packed, delicious beverage to enjoy any time.

If you dress it up just the right way, it can even fit right in at the party, not just the next day.

Garnish: thinly sliced watermelon rind tied with lime zest

According to the world's healthiest foods, watermelon is filled with lycopene, citrulline and vitamin C.
Mint aids in digestion, has anti-microbial properties and contains a phytonutrient that may be a cancer fighter.
Green tea also has "10 health benefits based on evidence", according to Authority Nutrition.
Limes contain both vitamin C and limonin.

Check out the links to read some of the research on what makes these foods so good for you. Then get out your shaker out and make yourself a best of both worlds, summer sipper.
